Rondale Moore Bio

Rondale Moore is a wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. He was born in New Albany, Indiana, and attended the local high school where he played football and basketball before transferring to another school to focus on football. He attended Purdue University, where he played his college football.

Rondale Moore made quite an impact in his first game for the Boilermakers. He caught 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in a 31-27 loss to Northwestern. Moore also had two rushing attempts for 79 yards and another touchdown, and he returned five kickoffs for another 125 yards. Moore finished his freshman campaign with 1,471 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns. He would play only another seven games in the next two seasons, finishing with college stats of 178 receptions, 1,915 yards, and 14 touchdowns.

Moore profiled as an explosive athlete in the predraft process ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft. He blazed a 95th percentile 40 time of 4.37. He recorded a 97th percentile Burst Score of 135.3 and a 93rd percentile Agility Score of 10.78. But he measured only 5'7" and had a 1st percentile arm length of 28 1/4". Moore still boasted a 73rd percentile wingspan of 10.11 but boasted 9th percentile hand size. The Cardinals took him with the 49th overall selection.

Moore did not command a huge workload as a rookie. He played 47.5 percent of the offensive snaps, with a 52.8 percent Route Participation rate and 248 routes run. Moore commanded a target share of 14.3 percent. Moore did lead all wide receivers with his 83.1 percent Catch Rate, but this was due in no small part to his ridiculously shallow Average Target Depth of 3.3 (No.114). Moore was No.113 with 212 air yards. He saw only four deep balls all season long and committed two drops.
