We’ve entered the second half of the fantasy football regular season. At this point, we should know what our dynasty teams are. Don’t be caught sleeping, now is the time to act. Here are the Dynasty Market Movers following the events of Week 7.
Stock Trending Up
Javonte Williams – RB Denver Broncos
Seeing 44.4-percent of snaps, Javonte Williams has spent 2021 in a time share with veteran Melvin Gordon. In seven games, the rookie has a nice 69 carries (No. 22 among qualified running backs) for 320 yards (No. 21). He’s been good as a receiver with 20 catches (No. 11) for 122 yards and two total touchdowns.

Fantasy-wise, Williams’ 10.6 Fantasy Points Per Game rank him at RB31. Despite sharing work, he’s delivered a top 30 RB performance in four of the last five games. The metrics also show promise. For instance, his 3.89 Yards Created Per Touch (No. 6) easily outdoes Gordon’s 2.89 mark. There are paths to increased volume for Williams in 2021, but it’s no guarantee. Regardless, don’t sleep on the fact that the 28-year-old Gordon is a pending UFA. Williams gains 12.86 Lifetime Value points and leaps three spots to RB9 on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings.
Damien Harris – RB New England Patriots
In Week 7 versus the Jets, Damien Harris saw 14 carries and went two for two as a receiver to post a season best performance of 113 total yards and two TDs. Managers that fired him up last week were rewarded with an RB3 performance. The third year back has now eclipsed 100 total yards in back-to back games.
In New England’s specialist backfield, Harris has shown that he can be versatile. His 95 carries (No. 9) nearly doubles the combined total of all other Patriots backs. He averages 2.57 red zone touches per game (No. 13) and is capable in the passing game – he is 10 of 11 receiving for 60 yards on the season. Harris gains 12.38 Lifetime Value points and climbs four spots to RB20.
Cooper Kupp – WR Los Angeles Rams
Needless to say, having Matthew Stafford in a Rams uniform has been good for Cooper Kupp. Heading into Week 8, the sixth year wideout leads all NFL WRs in receptions (56), targets (81), receiving yards (809), touchdowns (9), and of course, Fantasy Points Per Game (27.2).
Kupp is poised to easily smash his career best 1,162 yard and 10 touchdown season that he posted on 94 receptions in 2019. Trending way up in 2021, the 28-year-old Kupp’s dynasty stock accrues 19.29 Lifetime Value points (the most of any WR in the latest rankings update) to move six spots to WR15.
Kyle Pitts – TE Atlanta Falcons
Most tight ends need a couple of years to acclimatize to the NFL. Kyle Pitts needed four games. Over the last two weeks, he has exploded for 16 catches and 282 receiving yards. This is 93 more yards more than he had in his first four games combined. This has translated into TE3 and TE2 outings book-ending the Falcons’ Week 6 bye.

Through six games, Pitts has a 72.4-percent Snap Share (No. 17), but is Top 5 in Route Participation (80.6-percent, No. 5) and Yards Per Route Run (No. 5). He has a 29.1-percent Air Yards Share. Getting better each week, Pitts gains a position leading 14.43 Lifetime Value points and one spot to take the throne of dynasty TE1.

Sam Darnold – QB Carolina Panthers
The Sam Darnold redemption tour hit a road block in Week 7. After struggling in last week’s match-up against the New York Giants, Darnold was shown the bench early in the fourth quarter. The attention of the coaching staff now turns to working on his mechanics.
Since Darnold posted the top QB performance in Week 4, the wheels have fallen off. He’s thrown five interception in the last three games, averaging a mere 4.7 Yards Per Attempt. On the season, he has an underwhelming Accuracy Rating of 7.2 (No. 29) with a True Completion Percentage of 68.6-percent (No. 28). He loses 8.10 Lifetime Value points (the biggest QB faller this week) and five spots to slip to QB29 in the dynasty rankings.
Mike Davis – RB Atlanta Falcons
Remember when the size of Mike Davis‘ quadriceps were the talk of fantasy football Twitter? Those were the good times. It’s now Week 8, Atlanta has played six games, and Davis trails Cordarrelle Patterson in several metrics.
Over the last two games, Davis has been out-snapped, out-carried and out-targeted by Patterson. That’s not where the differences stop. On the season, Patterson has doubled Davis in Fantasy Points Per Game (19.3 to 9.7). The former has a Production Premium of 23.7 (No. 9) to Davis’ mark of -18.3 (No. 103). Mike D loses four spots to fall to RB49, while Patterson sits at RB40.
Allen Robinson – WR Chicago Bears
It was the Week 3 edition of the Dynasty Market Movers Report, when Allen Robinson was featured as a faller; he slipped to WR19 at that point. Sadly, it’s not gotten much better. In a Week 7 match-up with the Buccaneers, Robinson caught two of four targets for 16 yards.
The Bears continue to pass at a league low rate (25.7 Team Pass Plays Per Game, No. 32), and Robinson’s Target Share has now dipped to 22.7-percent (No. 27). He is seeing 3.7 fewer targets per game, as compared to last season. He loses another 9.61 Lifetime Value points and six more spots to slip to WR28 in the dynasty rankings. Barring a trade or drastic shift in the Bears’ offensive game plan, 2021 is looking like a lost fantasy season for the veteran talent.
Odell Beckham – WR Cleveland Browns
Travel 345 miles east from Chicago and you’ll find another run-focused team with an underachieving WR talent. Odell Beckham‘s 69.7-percent Snap Share and injury woes aren’t all that have held him back. The Browns average 29.9 Team Pass Plays Per Game, which ranks No. 29.
Odell Beckham Jr. Efficiency Metrics – Week 1-7 2021
In five games played, OBJ has a 22-percent Target Share . Despite leading the team in targets, Beckham is seeing a poor Target Quality Rating of 5.75 (No. 41). He has 16 receptions on 33 targets for 226 scoreless yards. This has translated to 8.0 Fantasy Points Per Game (No. 69; nice, but not so nice). Beckham’s stock drops three spots to fall to a ranking of WR50.
