Featured as a riser last week, Justin Herbert continues his ascent up the ranks. This is what happens after a quarterback drops a season-high 398 passing yards and five touchdowns on a stout Cleveland Browns defense. He is now the dynasty QB4 after this impressive 42.8-point (QB1) performance. After the events of Week 5, here’s the market price check.

Davis Mills – QB Houston Texans
In his third professional start, Davis Mills rebounded versus the New England Patriots. With a 72.4-percent completion percentage, Mills threw for 321 yards, no interceptions, and three touch downs. With 24.7 fantasy points, he was the QB6 for Week 5. Avoiding Bill Belichick’s knack for exposing rookie QBs, Mills moves up five spots to QB32 on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings.

On the season, Mills has been a mix bag with less than inspiring metrics. For example, his 6.8 (No. 31) Accuracy Rating and 5.1 (No. 28) Adjusted Yards Per Attempt, don’t necessarily excite the nervous system. An afternoon date with the 1-4 Indianapolis Colts this Sunday will shed more light onto whether or not Mills’ performance was fact or fiction.
Alexander Mattison – RB Minnesota Vikings
With Dalvin Cook sidelined due to injury in Weeks 3 and 5, Alexander Mattison has produced 23.1 (RB7) and 26.3 (RB6) fantasy point performances. Over those two games, he carried the ball 51 times and saw 15 targets (13 receptions) for 324 total yards and a touchdown.
Still only 23-years-old and an unrestricted free agent in 2023, Mattison has proved capable of getting the job done when opportunity knocks. Still a premier handcuff for now, he gains 35 Lifetime Value points (the most of any RB) to jump 14 spots to RB25. A Zero RB darling, Mattison makes for a coveted asset for Cook managers looking to make a championship run in 2021.
Kadarius Toney – WR New York Giants
Injuries to the Giants pass catching corps opened up more opportunity for Kadarius Toney. Over the last three contests, Toney has averaged a Snap Share of 71.6-percent. Gifted with 4.43 (86th-percentile) speed and 135.2 (96th-percentile) Burst, the 2021 first rounder has made good use of this extra playing time.
Toney broke out in a big way versus “them Cowboys.” He had 10 receptions on 13 targets for 189 yards – a 29.6 fantasy point (WR5) outing. On the year, he has a solid 159 (No. 8) Yards After Catch. Toney’s combination of speed and elusiveness packs a mean punch, he earns 22.27 Lifetime Value points to climb 15 spots to WR25.
Mark Andrews – TE Baltimore Ravens
Seeing a career-high 13 targets, Mark Andrews caught 11 passes for 147 yards and two scores to help the Ravens rally to an OT win against the Colts. His amazing 41.7 fantasy point night surely helped propel many fantasy teams to victory as well.

Through five weeks, Andrews is seeing a 74.6-percent (No. 15) Snap Share; an improvement from 2020. The fourth year TE owns a 24.5-percent (No. 3) Target Share, trailing only George Kittle (24.6-percent, No. 2) and Darren Waller (25.4 percent, No. 1). Andrews leads the position with 400 receiving yards, churning out a healthy 13.8 (No. 4) yards per reception. The biggest TE gainer on the dynasty rankings, Andrews gains 17.22 Lifetime Value points to rise two spots to TE6.

Damien Williams – RB Chicago Bears
With David Montgomery recovering from a knee ailment, Damien Williams was tasked with a Week 5 start. He played 50.8-percent of snaps, carrying the ball 16 times (3 red zone) for 64 yards and a touchdown. Williams went two for three in the passing game for 20 yards. Respectable day.
So why is the veteran’s value falling? Well, he split snaps evenly with rookie Khalil Herbert who out-rushed him with 18 carries (3 red zone) for 75 yards. Herbert ran well versus the Raiders and the youngster was relied upon to closeout the game. Williams hits the COVID list at an inopportune time. With Herbert poised to receive a bigger workload in Week 6, Williams could face a reduced role upon his return. He drops 13 spots to fall to RB49.
Trey Sermon – San Francisco 49ers
With Elijah Mitchell back in action, Trey Sermon once again took a back seat. Handed a microscopic 3.4-percent Snap Share in Week 5, Sermon produced one carry for seven yards. That carry came with 4:35 left in the fourth quarter. This is not the kind of usage that dynasty managers envisioned when drafting him in the late-first/early-second round last spring.

Since being scratched in Week 1, Sermon has 31 carries for 135 yards and a score. He has two catches on three targets for a total of three yards. Best Comparable to Jerick McKinnon on PlayerProfiler, Mitchell’s speed appears to be more appealing to the 49ers brass. His athletic traits make him a better fit to replace veteran Raheem Mostert. Sermon loses 14.22 Lifetime Value points and 14 spots for a rank of RB38 in dynasty.
Elijah Moore – WR New York Jets
Hopes were high for the Jets’ second round pick throughout the offseason. To this point in the season, Elijah Moore has failed to meet expectations. Playing four games, Moore has hauled in eight of 20 targets for 66 yards (No. 114). He has averaged 66.1-percent of snaps (No. 65).

When on the field, Moore has largely lined up out wide. He has a Slot Rate of 15.4-percent, compared to 65.4-percent for Braxton Berrios and 58-percent for Jamison Crowder. Moore has a 12.6 (No. 26) Average Target Depth. For now, fantasy gamers can only hold out hope that the Jets staff better deploys Moore after their Week 6 bye. He can play outside, but was dynamic from the slot at Ole Miss. Three quarters of his production came from inside. Moore slips five spots to WR40, but this may be a good time to take advantage of the value dip. After all, the rookie does have 206 (No. 20) Unrealized Air Yards.
Blake Jarwin – TE Dallas Cowboys
It appears that Blake Jarwin‘s TE1 comeback season has been put on ice. Playing in a contract year, Dalton Schultz is averaging 14.4 Fantasy Points Per Game and is currently the fantasy TE5. He is out-snapping Jarwin by a margin of 76.4-percent to 46-percent, and has a Target Share of 19-percent (No. 5) compared to Jarwin’s 8-percent (No. 36).
For fantasy purposes, Jarwin is best left on benches. He has nine receptions (13 targets) for 89 yards and a TD. The 27-year-old is delivering TE35 level production on a points per game basis and ran a season low four routes last week (25.7-percent Snap Share). Trending down, Jarwin slides four spots to TE29.
