Stock Trending Up

Justin Fields – QB Chicago Bears

Early in the season, Justin Fields was featured as a market faller. A mere 28 pass attempts and an Accuracy Rating of 6.3 over the first two games will do that to a player. How a few weeks can make a difference. Over the last five games, Fields has finished no worse than QB8 in fantasy with back-to-back QB1 performances over the past two games.

An absolute force on the ground, Fields has churned out 749 rushing yards (No. 1) on 104 carries (No. 1) this season. He has five rushing touchdowns in the last four games. Fields has also improved through the air. He’s improved his Accuracy Rating to 7.1 (No. 32) and tossed eight touchdowns since Week 7. Now averaging 21.1 fantasy points per game (QB6), the 23-year-old gains a position-leading 52.79 Lifetime Value points and moves up four spots to QB8 in dynasty. Kudos to those managers with the guts to buy low on the young signal caller.

Rachaad White – RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Rachaad White backfield takeover is in progress in Tampa and “Fantasy Football Twitter” is buzzing over it. In Week 10, White saw a season-high 64.9-percent Snap Share with Leonard Fournette suffering a hip pointer. The latter is expected to be fully healthy after the team’s Week 11 bye.

In the match-up against the Seahawks, White ran 22 times for 105 yards. He finished the week as RB24 (10.5 fantasy points). His first career 100-yard rushing performance marks only the second time a Bucs rusher has eclipsed the century mark in 2022 – Fournette ran for 127 yards in Week 1. Interestingly, White and Fournette have similar metrics in terms of Yards Per Touch (4.5 versus 4.4) and Yards Created Per Touch (2.45 versus 2.82). White earns 42.74 Lifetime Value points to catapult nine spots to RB14. Those hoping to acquire White may want to wait until the hype train slows during the Bucs’ bye week.

Christian Watson – WR Green Bay Packers

Christian Watson is a touchdown machine! In Week 10 he played 85.2-percent of snaps catching four of eight targets for 107 yards and three touchdowns. His breakout game rewarded patient fantasy managers with 32.7 fantasy points (WR2). On Thursday night versus the Titans, he added two more scores making it five touchdowns in the last two games.

Watson has quickly become Aaron Rodgers preferred Red Zone target. While he’s probably not going to add 15 more TDs to his rookie season resume, his stock is undoubtedly trending up. The second-round selection out of NDSU gains 38.38 Lifetime Value points and 21 spots to vault to WR41 in dynasty.

Cole Kmet – TE Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears’ 2020 second-round selection, Cole Kmet, has been on a tear of late. Over the last two games, he has scored a total of 45.4 fantasy points (TE1 Week 10, TE2 Week 9). This is nearly 10 more fantasy points than his total from Weeks 1-8 combined!

Kmet is averaging a healthy 93.7-percent Snap Share (No. 2) on the year. He has a Target Rate of 16.5-percent (No. 13). Through 10 games, he has 23 receptions (No. 24) for 274 receiving yards (No. 19) and five TDs (No. 3). While his 20-percent Touchdown Rate is due for regression, the third-year tight end earns 32.05 Lifetime Value points and nine spots to climb to TE9 on the dynasty rankings.

More notable players with stocks trending up:

Matt Ryan – QB Indianapolis Colts: +7.37 Lifetime Value points and +5 spots to QB32

Elijah Mitchell – RB San Francisco 49ers: +54.84 Lifetime Value points and +31 spots to RB30

Rondale Moore – WR Arizona Cardinals: +12.72 Lifetime Value points and +12 spot to WR40

Trey McBride – TE Arizona Cardinals: +7.38 Lifetime Value points and +2 spots to TE11

Stock Trending Down

Jared Goff – QB Detriot Lions

After two fantasy finishes in the top 12 at the position through the first four weeks, the wheels have fallen off recently for Jared Goff. The Lions’ QB has not eclipsed 20 fantasy points in the last five weeks. He’s finished with less than 15 fantasy points four times including two single-digit outings. This is not what fantasy managers want to see.

Jared Goff Passing Productivity and Efficiency Metrics – Week 1-10 2022

On the year, Goff has committed a league-leading 26 Danger Plays (No. 1) with 20 Interceptable Passes (No. 3). He is averaging 16.4 fantasy points per game (QB15) through 10 games. The former first-overall selection has returned to middling QB2 status. Currently sitting at a record of 3-6, it’s more than likely that the Lions will move on from Goff next season especially given his $20.65 million price tag. Goff loses 7.54 Lifetime Value points and four spots to slide to QB23 on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings. Sell if you can.

Raheem Mostert – RB Miami Dolphins

It’s Jeff Wilson Jr’s world in Miami and Raheem Mostert is just living in it. Mostert is quickly taking a back seat since Wilson joined the Dolphins. The 30-year-old loses 15.25 Lifetime Value points and drops 10 spots to slip to RB61.

In Week 9, Wilson equaled Mostert in carries, but Wilson led the way in terms of production. During Week 10, Wilson played 61.8-percent of snaps, thus reducing Mostert to a season-low 26.5-percent. Wilson out carried Mostert 17 to eight and earned one extra target. Despite Wilson’s backfield takeover, Mostert has still been productive, which helps keep his sell window open.

Curtis Samuel – WR Washington Commanders

Heavily targeted over the early part of the season, Curtis Samuel now sees himself receiving just four targets in each of the last three games. The 26-year-old has seen a decline in Snap Share since Taylor Heinicke took over the reins at quarterback. From a fantasy scoring standpoint, Samuel has finished as WR30 or worse in six of the past eight contests. He has scored just a single touchdown since Week 2 with a season-best yardage total of 78 yards in Week 2.

Curtis Samuel Game Log – Weeks 1-10 2022

The former Ohio State Buckeye loses 12.25 Lifetime Value points and four spots to drop to WR57. Under the current circumstances, Samuel is difficult to trust on a weekly basis. The target volume hasn’t been there with Heinecke. While not many may want to see Carson Wentz back under center for the Commanders, dynasty managers rostering Samuel might not mind it.

Zach Ertz – WR Arizona Cardinals

Unfortunately, Zach Ertz‘s 2022 campaign will come to a close after suffering a season-ending knee injury versus the L.A. Rams in Week 10. Averaging 11.6 fantasy points per game (TE5), Ertz has been solid for fantasy managers this year.

Through 10 weeks, he earned a nice 69 Targets (No. 2) turning this into 47 catches (No. 2) for 406 yards (No. 2) and four scores (No. 5). Ertz led all TEs with 335 Routes Run.

This is a tough loss for both the Cardinals and fantasy managers. The veteran loses 24.16 Lifetime Value points and falls eight spots to TE18. Despite being under contract with Arizona for two more years, this is a major blow to his stock considering the veteran will be approaching 33 years of age at the start of next season.

More notable players with stocks trending down:

Justin Herbert – QB Los Angeles Chargers: -4.94 Lifetime Value points and -2 spots to QB6

Khalil Herbert – RB Chicago Bears: -23.60 Lifetime Value points and -8 spots to RB36

Cooper Kupp – WR Los Angeles Rams: -47.42 Lifetime Value points and -13 spot to WR20

Darren Waller – TE Las Vegas Raiders: -13.21 Lifetime Value points and -6 spots to TE15
