Debuting after Week 2 for the 2022 season, the biweekly edition of Dynasty Market Movers Report monitors the NFL’s weekly action and uses PlayerProfiler’s advanced stats and metrics to highlight players moving on the dynasty rankings.
Report 2 covers notable dynasty risers and fallers between Weeks 2 and 4. Let’s get to it.
Stock Trending Up
Geno Smith – QB Seattle Seahawks
They wrote him off, but he didn’t write back! Four weeks into the 2022 NFL campaign and Geno Smith is the QB10. He’s averaging 19.0 fantasy points per game (fppg). In Week 4, versus the Detroit Lions, Smith posted a 31.7 fantasy point day en route to a QB2 finish – his best finish since Week 17 of 2014.
Smith has been ultra-efficient thus far. He leads all passers in True Completion Percentage (79.7-percent), Accuracy Rating (8.3), and Clean Pocket Accuracy Rating (8.7). Making the most of his starting opportunity, the 2013 second-round pick gained 10.83 Lifetime Value points and moved up seven spots to move to QB28.
Breece Hall – RB New York Jets
It didn’t take 2022 second-round selection, Breece Hall, long to ascend to the top of the dynasty rankings. In Week 4 versus the Steelers, Hall saw his Snap Share rise to 64.3-percent. He has out-touched backfield mate, Michael Carter, in two consecutive games.
✅No. 4 – Breakaway Run Rate
✅No. 6 – Weighted Opportunities
✅No. 7 – Target Share
✅No. 12 – Yards Per TouchThat Breece Hall guy is pretty good😎@AlanSeslowsky pic.twitter.com/uSsj5xgMUs
— PlayerProfiler (@rotounderworld) October 7, 2022
On the season, Hall has 28 Targets (No. 2) with a 15.4-percent Target Share (No. 7). He has carried the ball 38 times (No. 31) this season, but his workload has steadily risen to peak at 17 carries (5 Red Zone) in Week 4. He earned 45.96 Lifetime Value points to jump three spots to RB2. Breece Hall is a BELL COW. Buy the former Iowa State Cyclone where you can.
Chris Olave – WR New Orleans Saints
Seeing the field on 75.6-percent of snaps, Chris Olave has earned 36 Targets (No. 20) for a 27.7-percent Target Share (No. 22). He leads all wideouts with 15 Deep Targets and has produced 335 receiving yards through four contests (No. 9).
With back-to-back top 20 WR finishes over the last two games (WR6 in Week 3; WR17 in Week 4), Olave has been solid for fantasy managers. If his Target Quality Rating of 4.62 (No. 66) can improve, the rookie may explode. He leads the NFL with 401 Unrealized Air Yards. Olave jumped up 10 spots to WR14 by gaining 22.68 Lifetime Value points.
David Njoku – TE Cleveland Browns
Off-season breakout candidate, David Njoku, has delivered for dynasty managers early in the season. Through four games, “Chief” is averaging a career-best 10.4 fantasy points per game, a mark that is good for TE11. With a Deshaun Watson return on the horizon, buying Njoku in dynasty looks like a smart move.

The uber-athletic No. 29 overall pick is playing 91.3-percent of snaps (20.2-percent in the slot) and leads all TEs in Yards Per Route Run at 3.24. He has a Target Share of 18.7-percent (No. 7). Best comparable to Travis Kelce on PlayerProfiler.com, Njoku gained a healthy 22.23 Lifetime Value points (the most of any TE in the last two weeks) and seven spots to jump to TE13.
More notable players with stocks trending up:
Zach Wilson – QB New York Jets: +7.52 Lifetime Value points and +4 spots to QB20
J.K. Dobbins – RB Baltimore Ravens: +24.35 Lifetime Value points and +10 spots to RB6
CeeDee Lamb – WR Dallas Cowboys: +23.75 Lifetime Value points and +2 spots to WR4
Tyler Conklin – TE New York Jets: +7.90 Lifetime Value points and +6 spots to TE17
Stock Trending Down
Russell Wilson – QB Denver Broncos
Despite a 90.9-percent Protection Rate (No. 1), Russell Wilson is producing a career-low 16.6 fantasy points per game (QB14). Through Week 4, Wilson has a True Completion Percentage of 67.8-percent (No. 22) and has only one QB1 finish (QB3 in Week 4). His Passing Touchdown Rate of 3.1-percent is also a career worst.
Broncos fans are leaving before overtime begins. YIKES. https://t.co/0pnhvhUr2Z
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) October 7, 2022
The Broncos’ game plan hasn’t necessarily been helping Russ ride. Denver plays slow as evidenced by a 1.88 Pace of Play (No. 27) with a Team Pass Plays Per Game mark of 32.8 (No. 20). After a poor outing in Week 5 against the Colts, Wilson’s value may fall further. For the time being, he’s lost 6.07 Lifetime Value points to fall outside the Top 10 dynasty QBs (QB11).
Javonte Williams – RB Denver Broncos
The hits keep coming for Denver in this report. Russ ain’t cooking, and sadly Javonte Williams will miss the remainder of the 2022 season with a serious right knee injury. The sophomore RB ends his second season with 204 yards on 47 rushing attempts and 16 catches for 76 yards. Williams produced a True Yards Per Carry Rate of 4.3 (No. 29) despite a 51.1 (No. 37) Run Blocking Rating.
A discount is now available on a young back that was expected to ascend into the first round of dynasty start-ups. He’s dropped a whopping 105.34 Lifetime Value points and eight spots to fall to RB11. Savvy dynasty managers will look to profit later by leveraging the decreased value that coincides with injury.
D.J. Moore – WR Carolina Panthers
D.J. Moore is good at football. Unfortunately, he’s saddled with a Target Quality Rating of 2.22 (No. 93). His Catchable Target Rate is an abysmal 51.7-percent (No. 90). It’s tough to produce at a high level under these circumstances and is suffering from Baker Mayfield’s poor play.

Through four contests, the fifth-year wideout is averaging a career-low 9.0 fantasy points per game (No. 55). Despite a 25.9-percent Target Share (No. 22), his best weekly finish is WR29. Moore drops 15.77 Lifetime Value points and falls nine spots to WR18 in dynasty. Moore is somewhat of a fantasy football darling. Those looking to sell should try to wait for a blow-up game to pivot off of him.
Dalton Schultz – TE Dallas Cowboys
Following a one-game absence due to a knee injury, Dalton Schultz returned to deliver fantasy gamers a zero. Seeing the field on 83.9-percent of snaps, he failed to haul in any of his three targets versus the division rival Commanders.
Schultz has not started where he left off last season. He has earned just one red zone target and is producing a mediocre 0.90 Yards Per Route Run mark (No. 34). His Target Quality Rating of 3.69 (No. 29) isn’t helping. With Dak Prescott eventual return, those in need of a TE1 could look to pry Schultz from a frustrated dynasty manager. Schultz slips one spot to TE10 and loses 9.55 Lifetime Value points.
