Stock Trending Up

Antonio Gibson – RB Washington Football Team

Antonio Gibson tops all 2020 drafted RBs with a 122.8 (99th-percentile among qualified running backs) Speed Score; top 10 overall on PlayerProfiler.com. It’s no surprise that when he handed a larger workload in Week 12, he produced high-end RB1 numbers. Playing a season-high 69.8-percent Snap Share versus the Cowboys, Gibson saw 20 carries (three in the red zone) and caught five of seven targets for 136 total yards and three touchdowns. With this kind of workload it’s wheels up for the rookie. The 22-year-old gains 19.79 Lifetime Value points, the most of all RBs, to move from RB14 to RB11 in the dynasty rankings.

David Montgomery – RB Chicago Bears

David Montgomery returned to action with a splash in Week 12 following some time away due to a concussion and a bye week. He started his matchup against the Packers strongly by busting off a career high 57-yard run on his first carry. Despite negative Game Script, Montgomery continued his productive day and ended with a season-best 143 total yards and a score on 11 carries and five receptions.

A solid-floor RB2 in 2020, Montgomery moves to RB23 on the dynasty rankings. With a 70.3-percent (No. 9) Opportunity Share and series of favorable matchups ahead, the sophomore’s dynasty stock can climb even higher.

D.K. Metcalf – WR Seattle Seahawks

We have a new top dog on the wide receiver dynasty rankings. D.K. Metcalf leads the NFL with 1,039 receiving yards, has 58 (No. 14) receptions on 90 (No. 13) targets and nine (No. 6) touchdowns. He produced a career-best 177 receiving yards on 13 targets in Week 12 versus Darius Slay. This marks the sixth time in 11 games that Metcalf has finished as the PPR WR13 or better in fantasy for 2020.

D.K. Metcalf 2020 Productivity Metrics

Averaging 19.4 (No. 3) Fantasy Points per Game this season, it’s a great time to have Metcalf in dynasty leagues. He is the biggest gainer in the WR rankings, accruing 17.14 Lifetime Value points to surpass Davante Adams for the top spot.

Collin Johnson – WR Jacksonville Jaguars

Rookie Collin Johnson stepped up in a big way for the Jaguars in Week 12. Appearing in seven other games this season, the 6-6, 222-pound fifth-round pick out of Texas, played a season high 78.3-percent Snap Share, running 30 routes versus the Bengals. Prior to this week, Johnson had not played more the one-third of the snaps in a game. He made good on the increased opportunity, catching four passes for 96 yards and walking the sideline for an impressive diving touchdown.

One of the biggest overall positive movers on the dynasty rankings, Johnson vaults 44 spots to WR78. With Keelan Cole, Chris Conley and Dede Westbrook all slated for free agency in the offseason, he makes for an interesting dynasty league stash.

Dallas Goedert – TE Philadephia Eagles

Dallas Goedert had his best performance since Week 1 on Monday night against the Seahawks. He caught seven of his 10 targets for 75 yards and added a score to lead the Eagles in all three categories. Over the past two weeks, Goedert has seen a 100-percent Snap Share and has earned 16 targets over that time. This has translated to back-to-back top 5 fantasy tight end outings. He moves up one spot to TE7 on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings.

Stock Trending Down

Ezekiel Elliott – RB Dallas Cowboys

Life without Dak Prescott has not been kind to Ezekiel Elliott or his dynasty league owners. Through Weeks 1-5, Elliott played on 89.5-percent of the snaps, seeing an average of 17.8 carries and 6.6 targets per game. He had six touchdowns over this time. Over the past six games, Elliott has seen his Snap Share drop to 69.8-percent. He now averages 15.3 carries and 3.8 targets per game, reaching the end zone just once since Week 6. Needless to say, his production has fallen off dramatically.

From a fantasy standpoint, Elliott’s 19.4 point Week 11 performance (RB4) is the sole outing placing him in the top 10 at the position, and he has a single-digit output in four of the last six weeks. The 25-year-old fumbles away 12.29 Lifetime Value points, the most of all RBs, and his dynasty rank drops to RB7.

Matt Breida – RB Miami Dolphins

Matt Breida had some sleeper appeal coming into the season. Twelve weeks later, he continues to underwhelm despite injuries to Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed, as well as Miami moving on from Jordan Howard. Breida did battle his own hamstring injury suffered in Week 8. In Week 12, he earned a start and played a season high 39.1-percent of the snaps versus the lowly Jets. He ultimately ended up in a timeshare with DeAndre Washington, managing 53 scoreless yards on 11 caries and two receptions. He also lost a fumble.

Check out Matt Breida on PlayerProfiler’s New DYNASTY DELUXE Rankings:

In nine games, Breida has 47 carries for 168 yards, averages 3.6 (No. 62) True Yards Per Carry, and has nine catches for 96 yards with no touchdowns. He now finds himself on the reserve/COVID-19 list. It’s unfortunate timing. The Dolphins are shorthanded in the backfield with Washington now sidelined by a hamstring injury. Breida’s stock continues to fall with his ranking dropping from RB65 to RB80 over the past two weeks.

A.J. Green – WR Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Green has been on the field running routes and drawing targets. He’s played an average of 86.3 of snaps over the past three weeks and has 17 targets during this time. Despite this, he has zero receptions and zero yards in two of his last three games.

The opportunity has been there in his 2020 comeback season, but Green has lacked production and efficiency. In 11 games, has drawn 80 (No. 20) targets and run 375 (No. 23) routes. Despite this, he has 35 (No. 54) receptions for 357 (No. 68) receiving yards and one (No. 86) touchdown. Green has a meager 66 (No. 105) Yards After Catch, 10.2 (No. 92) Yards Per Reception and 0.95 (No. 107) Yards Per Route Run. For reference, he generated 15.1 Yards Per Reception and had 137 Yards After Catch in his nine games played in the 2018 season. The 32-year-old drops another eight spots to WR93 in PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings.

Will Fuller – WR Houston Texans

As reported on his Instagram account last Monday, Texans wide receiver Will Fuller was slapped with a six-game ban for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. The suspension effectively ends Fuller’s 2020 season and carries over to Week 1 of the 2021 campaign. Finally enjoying a stretch of consistent health, the speedster set career-highs over his eleven 2020 games with 53 (No. 20) receptions, 879 (No. 10) receiving yards and eight (No. 7) touchdowns. Fuller’s 17.2 Fantasy Points per Game average is currently good for No. 10 at the position. He is set to become a free agent in the offseason. Regardless of the production, his dynasty stock takes a hit due to this extended absence and uncertain contract status. Fuller, who turns 27 in April, is this biggest faller on the latest rankings update, losing 26.42 Lifetime Value points to drop to WR44.

Nick Foles – QB Chicago Bears

Nick Foles left Chicago’s Week 10 matchup with a hip injury and returned to action in Week 12 as the No. 2 QB. Realistically, a return to the bench was likely coming at some point because Foles hadn’t played well. In eight games, he has 1,852 (No. 28) passing yards and 10 (No. 25) touchdowns. There is no fantasy friendly rushing floor with floor since he has -2 (No. 62) rushing yards. He averages a shallow 6.0 (No. 34) Yards per Attempt, has thrown 20 (No. 5) Interceptable Passes, and has committed 22 (No. 13) Danger Plays.

Nick Foles 2020 Passing Productivity and Efficiency Metrics

Foles has a 70.0 (No. 33) True Passer Rating, a 7.2 (No. 26) Accuracy Rating, and a 43.8 (No. 29) Total QBR. Sounds bad? Well, it gets worse, he was benched for a QB that has performed just as poorly or worse in many of these categories. Mitchell Trubisky has earned another start in Week 13, but with the Bears offense struggling, Foles may get another shot before the season ends. For the time being, Foles takes a nine spot dip in the dynasty rankings to QB47.
