Dynasty Market Movers: Week 13 Report

Dynasty Leagues

The Dynasty Market Movers Report is back for another week to help managers stay tuned into the movement on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings. The 2020 NFL season has flown by, and in an anything but normal year, we’ve thankfully made it to the fantasy playoffs with a full slate of weekly games. Good luck to those playing this week!

Myles Gaskin – RB Miami Dolphins

On the injured reserve with a knee injury since Week 9, Myles Gaskin picked up right where he left off in his return to action in Week 13. Miami’s second-year rusher played on 71.6-percent of the snaps versus the Bengals, carrying the ball 21 times (seven times in the red zone) and catching both of his targets. He posted a season-high 141 total yards in his workhorse role, ceding just three carries to Patrick Laird and one to rookie Lynn Bowden. A solid RB2 this season, Gaskin gained 15.51 Lifetime Value points, the most of any running back, to move up 14 spots to RB33 on the dynasty rankings.

Ty Johnson – RB New York Jets

Ty Johnson took over the Jets backfield in Week 13 following an early injury to Frank Gore. Johnson out-snapped Josh Adams by a healthy 66.7-percent to 33.3 percent margin, dominating red zone touches seven to one. This increased opportunity resulted in multiple career bests for Johnson with 22 carries, 104 rushing yards, and a touchdown. He added 13 receiving yard on two catches.

At 5-11 and 210-pounds with 4.45 speed, the former Maryland Terp jumps 28 spots in the dynasty rankings to move up to RB55.

Corey Davis – WR Tennessee Titans

Corey Davis has had a lot to prove this season after the Tennessee Titans declined his fifth-year option. He’s done just that. Other than a catchless Week 9 performance versus the Bears, Davis has recorded double-digit fantasy points in every game played. He’s averaging 15.7 Fantasy Points per Game, which currently ranks No. 16 among qualified wide receivers.

Davis has 53 (No. 26) receptions for 801 (No. 17) yards and four (No. 29) touchdowns in 10 games. He’s poised to surpass his career-best 891 yards and four touchdowns that he registered in 2018. The 2017 fifth overall pick gained 17.85 Lifetime Value points to move from WR48 to WR38 on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings.

Keke Coutee – WR Houston Texans

With Will Fuller suspended, Randall Cobb on IR, and Kenny Stills released, Keke Coutee stepped up in a big way in Week 13. Free from Bill O’Brien’s doghouse, Coutee has seen his Snap Share rise over the last three games, playing a season high 82.5-percent versus the Colts last week. He recorded a career-high 141 yards on eight catches and was targeted nine targets – his second NFL game with over 100 receiving yards. Coutee’s dynasty stock has been on the rise of late, jumping 22 spots last week. The 23-year-old moves up another dozen spots this week to WR65.

Jalen Hurts – QB Philadelphia Eagles

Carson Wentz has had a tough 2020 season. It’s no secret, he was featured as a faller in the Week 2 edition of the Dynasty Market Movers. Wentz leads the quarterback position with 30 Interceptable Passes and 42 Danger Plays, and is amongst the league’s worst in multiple efficiency metrics. In Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers, he was finally shown the bench in favor of Jalen Hurts. The second-round rookie completed five of 12 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked three times and intercepted once.

Set to start his first NFL game this Sunday against a stout Saints defense, Hurts jumps up five spots in the dynasty rankings to QB20. This performance will be one to monitor.

Zack Moss – RB Buffalo Bills

Bills rookie Zack Moss has lacked production since his two-touchdown performance in Week 8. Splitting work with Devin Singletary, he’s averaged under 50 total yards over the last four games. As a result, his fantasy production over the past three weeks reads as follows: 2.7 (No. 57) points, 8.8 (No. 29) points and 2.4 (No. 65) points. Further to that, Moss has just 15 (No. 62) targets on the season and last reached the end zone in Week 9. If he wasn’t difficult enough to trust based on production, he was shown the bench and played only 11 snaps in Week 13 after a mishandled exchange at the Bills’ one-yard line. One of the biggest running back fallers on PlayerProfiler’s dynasty rankings, Moss loses 17.43 Lifetime Value points and 11 spots to move down to RB40.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire – RB Kansas City Chiefs

Rookie running backs have been breaking out on a weekly basis lately, while Clyde Edwards-Helaire‘s dynasty stock has been sliding. He drops 9.02 Lifetime Value and two more spots to sit at RB16 in the dynasty rankings. Averaging 13.7 (No. 17) carries per game, Edwards-Helaire last exceeded 100 total yards in Week 6. Luckily, he has four touchdowns over this time.

Edwards-Helaire has produced at RB12 or better in only four games this season, averaging 13.9 (No. 18) Fantasy Points per Game. This is No. 3 among rookies behind James Robinson and D’Andre Swift. Being the first RB off the draft board last spring (in reality and often in fantasy), expectations were high. Dynasty managers have to be disappointed in what has largely been RB2 production. We won’t discuss his decoy role in Week 13.

Darius Slayton – WR New York Giants

If you enjoy rollercoaster rides, then rostering Darius Slayton in dynasty leagues is for you. In 12 games this season, he has produced fewer than eight fantasy points in seven and fewer than three in three, but also has double-digit outputs in five games with two over 20 points. Recently, Slayton posted five catches for 93 yards in Week 11, but bracketed this game with receiving lines of 1-6-0 (Week 10) and 0-0-0 (Week 12). In Week 13, he had one catch for 14 yards on one target.

On the season, Slayton has a less than inspiring 39 (No. 52) receptions for 598 (No. 35) receiving yards. He will need nine more catches and 142 yards to match his rookie season production. His sliding dynasty value loses another nine spots to settle in at WR59 on the dynasty rankings.

Jerry Jeudy – WR Denver Broncos

In a season where a rookie wide receivers are ascending in the ranks on a weekly basis, Jerry Jeudy is losing dynasty value. He currently sits outside the top 30 wide receivers, dropping six spots from WR26 to WR32. He has been banged up, his production has regressed, and he’s expressed frustration via social media. Over the last three games, he has four receptions for 42 yards.

Check out Jerry Jeudy on PlayerProfiler’s New DYNASTY DELUXE Rankings:

Let’s not pretend that Jeudy has benefitted from stellar quarterback play, he has a 4.2 (No. 104) Target Quality Rating with a 62.2-percent (No. 107) Catchable Target Rate. Currently, he is anything but a confident start for dynasty teams in the fantasy playoffs. However, he has shown promise this season, and better days should be ahead.

Jimmy Graham – TE Chicago Bears

Jimmy Graham has had a respectable 2020 season, but the wheels have fallen off of late. His dropoff coincides with a Mitchell Trubisky return under center, and the emergence of rookie tight end Cole Kmet. Featured on the Week 6 Dynasty Market Movers watchlist, hopefully Kmet is stashed on many dynasty teams by now.

Graham has gone catchless games in two of the past three games, seeing his Snap Share fall from 62.5-percent in Week 10 to 35.4-percent in Week 13. Kmet has almost doubled Graham in targets since Week 10, playing an average of 81.1-percent of the snaps. Graham’s dynasty stock plummets 18 spots to TE45, the biggest fall for all TEs on the updated dynasty rankings.
